Meal Plans

We have designed the following meal plans to meet your campus dining needs. To purchase a Traditional Meal Plan or to make changes, call (704) 463-3020. To purchase a Commuter or Faculty/Staff Plan, visit the Admissions or call (704)463-3020. 

2016-2017 Traditional Meal Plans 

All students residing on-campus are required to purchase one of the following plans: 

  • 19 Meals per week + $180 Flex Dollars per semester = $2561 per semester 
  • 17 Meals per week + $100 Flex Dollars per semester = $2349 per semester 
  • 14 Meals per week + $225 Flex Dollars per semester = $2349 per semester 

2016-2017 Commuter Meal Plans 

Available for students who live off-campus. 

  • 20 Meals per semester + 1 Bonus Meal Free = $149 
  • 40 Meals per semester + 2 Bonus Meals Free = $283
  • 60 Meals per semester + 3 Bonus Meals Free = $405  
  • 30 Meals per semester = $272 
  • $115 Falcon Bucks = Only $100 (Declining Balance Account that Saves you $15)

MEALS can be used at Stokes Dining Hall, located on the 1st floor of Student Center. 



Flex Dollars & Falcon Bucks

Flex dollars & Falcon Bucks are dollar to dollar funds that can be used to make purchases at any of our on-campus locations including Stokes Dining Hall and the Knapp Sack. Purchase $100 in Flex and receive an additional $15 for free! 


How to Add Additional Funds: Worried about running out of Flex Dollars or need to add more Falcon Bucks? No Problem! Funds are available to purchase anytime at Admissions or by calling (704)463-3020.



Meal Cards

Selection of a Campus Dining Services meal plan entitles you to a meal card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected.  Here is how it works: 

  • Meal Plans and declining balance "Falcon Bucks" are set up on the University ID card system. 
  • Admission to the Cafeteria requires the use of purchase of a meal 
  • ID Cards are required at all times 
  • Meal Plan changes must be completed in the first 10 days after classes begin each semester.

Dinner: $8.86
Important Info

Lost or Stolen Meal Cards

Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you, stop by the ID/Dining Services Office across from Stokes Dining Hall in the Student Center. A new ID is $25.00 and may be charged to your student account.

Seconds Policy

You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites in Stokes Dining Hall. All you have to do is ask!

Allergies/Special Dietary Needs

Dining Policies

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that meal cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
